Data standard
NIX
Neuroscience Information Exchange format
A generic data model and HDF5-based file format, started in the INCF Electrophysiology Task Force, that stores neuroscience data (time series, images, events, regions of interest) together with their metadata in one container. Metadata follow the odML model, and Neo reads and writes NIX files.
